Wow, Alex has really set me up here ! I'll give it a go however. I'm no expert so everything I post is open to correction or discussion. I'm often asked about what "detachable slide spring" means. In the early days of Carbine production they had problems boring a hole down the entire length of the right hand side of a Carbine receiver so they used a detachable slide spring. These are not found often in N.Z. First I'll post a pic of the "Intergral" slide spring housing, which I think is more often found in N.Z, then I'll try and post pics of the detachable slide spring housing.
