A brief explanation of why we set up this forum

Hello and welcome to the New Zealand M1 Carbine collectors group forum.

This forum has been put together by a few Kiwi collectors of the WW2 era manufactured .30cal M1 Carbine rifle.

Our aim is to both share knowledge, between other like minded NZ collectors, of these great pieces of history.
And help preserve this information for future generations to access and use.

This forum has been set up to aid in the sharing of information, and to help pool ideas to preserve the history of these fine pieces of history, that helped our soldiers defend themselves during operations during both WW2 and numerous other conflicts after.

This forum is a work in progress, and as such any suggestions on how to make it user friendly will be much appreciated.
