I see on of our Forum users appears to have picked up this from our local Trademe auction site.

I'm sure we would all be keen to hear about it's details when it arrives, and has had a good going over Cool

Hello billyvan

Yes, good spot there.
I did get it and it arrived yesterday

Looks much better than I was hoping
My first look over shows it as in original condition except handguard which is a type III (4 rivet) replacement
First thing I did was removed that horrible looking scope and mount and was plesently surprised that there was no damage to receiver at all
Mount locked into rear sight groove

Another hole in my collection filled - Quality Hardware Manufacturing Corp (first production run) with Rock-ola barrel Serial number 15978xx
Has correct Type II operating slide spring housing
I am looking for another one (spring housing) if anyone has one (would be a miracle), for a Winchester M1 I am trying to restore.

Regards Todd
